It’s yet another wonderful time to share with you the third tip to succeed as blogger in this third part of the 20 hot tips to succeed as a blogger post series. Welcome back.

Today’s tip says; “Be Generous”. But, what does it mean to be generous anyway? Let’s consult our dictionary as it has become our trademark in this series.

Generous – Willing to give and share unstintingly. I almost laugh when I check the dictionary for this meaning, I was wondering; how come one look for the meaning of a word and then the big old dictionary comes up with another uncommon word and you got to look for the meaning of that also to get what you’re actually try to fig out….lol. By, the way the meaning of unstinting is Very Generous.

Hey, I know; this is not an English Lecture. Sorry, I was only trying to make sure you understand what we’re talking about.

“Give and it shall be given unto you” I’m sure you have heard that many time and of course it’s popularly know as religious saying. But, let me inform you that it’s more than just a religious saying; it’s fail proof principle of life. Why do you think most humanitarian organizations/NGOs are thriving?

Ok, maybe you are wondering how does that got to do with blogging, in that case what will you say is the secret behind the success of top Internet Companies like YAHOO, GOOGLE and MSN? It’s all tied to being generous. Do I break it down for you?

YAHOO prides on being one of the pioneers of Free Email, I wonder what the Internet would have been without Google’s free Search Engine, and/or what can we say about the all Free resources within MSN Network? Hope you are getting the idea!

Alright, why do you have to be Generous to succeed as a Blogger or how does been generous relate to blogging success? For you to succeed as a blogger you’ll need to enjoy a good relationship with so many other bloggers in and around your niche, and one of the great ways of building and maintaining such relationships is by giving. Giving what you might want to ask; free links, free reviews, free promotion, free recommendation etc.

I’ll give you an illustration; supposed after launching a product, I discovered that I’m making the greatest sales from a particular referral link, and decided to follow the link to see how the sales came by, only to land on the super compelling review you wrote on my product with your guaranteed recommendation. Now, I literary don’t know you and we have never had anything to do together.

Naturally, I’ll feel indebted to you and will want to show my appreciation for such kind gesture, which of course I can do in so many ways that can make you to be successful just the way you have helped my product to be a success.

One sure thing is I’ll gladly begin to refer people to the review of that my product on your blog and that will mean great traffic for your blog, which will definitely help your blog to be more successful.

Also, if any of my friends needs to put some money into promoting/advertising their products, don’t you think the first place I’ll want to direct them is your blog? Of course, there’s no disputing that.

As I round off, please know that being generous as a blogger is a big key to success, give credits where necessary, give free links, do free quality reviews, free reports, share highly valuable secret other are selling etc.

Finally, if you do this right and you are not successful, come back here and poke me in the nose…..lol

Seriously Now, don’t be a miserly blogger if you really want to be a successfull blogger but; BE A GENEROUS BLOGGER!
