20 Hot Tips to Succeed as a Blogger – Tip 5: Be Persistent

It’s very important that you guide your mind; else you’ll end up giving up right at the cross-road to your success. So many newbie bloggers have been brain-washed with the idea that blogging is so easy as 1, 2, 3, and so they don’t need to do any thing much to succeed as a blogger (the autopilot mentality). This has largely been the reason behind the failures of so many bloggers.

Once they don’t archive the desired Success with their initials efforts, they lost interest/inspiration and the next thing they think of is; quit or move on to another blog/another thing. And they keep quitting or moving to another thing, on and on they go, without really achieving any significant success.

A key to success as blogger, like in every other human endeavour is to be Persistent. It doesn’t matter how many times you failed, what matter is that you succeed. After all, the world will never count your failures; they’ll only celebrate your Success.

You have to develop a stubbornly unyielding and never-ceasing (like wordweb dictionary puts the meaning of Persistent) mentality or mindset.

Blogging has evolved and is still evolving every single day, your blog is fighting for the same audiences’ attention with some 133 Millions blogs (according to Technorati), and in such a competition you wouldn’t think it’s going to be an easy smooth sail with your initial efforts, when many of those 17 Billions+ blogs are already well established even before your blog came into the scene.

Don’t be overwhelmed either, succeeding as Blogger is not rocked science, as long you keep to the principle’s of the game, one of which I’m sharing with you in this context. Remember, you are not yet a failure of blogger, until you accept you are and decided to quit.

I love the way Napoleon Hills puts it, when he said;

One most common causes of failure is the habit of quitting when one is overtaken by temporary defeat.

The fact is, you’ll experience so many temporary defeats on your road to Success as a Blogger, and they remain just that; temporary defeats, as long as you don’t quit but remains as Persistent as you could ever be. And thereafter, you’ll realize that your desired Success is just by the next corner.

Finally, I’m sure you must have discovered by now that every Blogger hoping to achieve his/her desired level of Success as a Blogger, must develop a never say never spirit called Persistence.
